Location
The headquarters of the Foundation are located in a 16th century palace, the Nin manor house, popularly called Casa del Portal del Pardo. It is a privileged location in the town of El Vendrell that allows us to understand a unique history of more than 500 years. Its strategic location as a gateway to the current urban center represents an artery of central communication and knowledge of the region.

El Vendrell is the capital of the Baix Penedès region, located 72 kilometers from Barcelona and 30 kilometers from Tarragona.

The high-speed train line has the Camp de Tarragona station located 30 minutes from El Vendrell.
By plane
- Reus airport is located 32 km from El Vendrell. From Reus you can reach El Vendrell by car, train or bus.
- Barcelona airport is located 45 km from El Vendrell.

Rules
The museum space and building have been carefully historically preserved for their essence and value. We ask that you follow the rules of use.
Long umbrellas or other sharp objects must be left in the cloakroom, except for crutches or canes for those who need them to move. We will also appreciate it if you leave backpacks, suitcases or bulky packages (30 x 30 cm).
To touch the sculptures and other artworks is forbidden.
Adults who are accompanied or who accompany children are responsible for maintaining a safe distance from the works in order to maintain good conservation. Ensure that children always go with the adults with whom they have entered the museum and that they explain to them the importance of being careful with the works on display. It is also relevant to explain to them the appropriate use of museum spaces in order to respect the content and the other users of the museum facilities.
In order to take photographs or videos with flash of the works of art inside, you must request express authorization from the museum. Authorized persons will be properly identified.
You can freely take photographs on the outside terraces for private use. In the case of photographs for professional use, you will have to contact those in charge of the museum.
Like all buildings and areas for public use, both the interior of the building and the museum terraces are smoke-free spaces.
We would appreciate it if you need to eat or drink, do so before or after entering the museum facilities.
Accessibility
At the Apel·les Fenosa Museum we think that both the space and the exhibition and educational contents should be accessible to all people. Starting from a previous dialogue with the groups, we study the activities that meet the specific needs of participants with visual, hearing or intellectual disabilities. In addition, we establish continuous collaboration with different associations to strengthen the relationship between these people and the institution, thus promoting mutual enrichment.
Access and itinerary
- The museum has easy access for people with reduced mobility to the first exterior floor.
- At the entrance there is an internal ramp, although the slope is a little steep.
- The museum has an elevator in the courtyard.
- In some areas of the patio, the pavement is uneven. This may make passage difficult for some people with reduced mobility.
- All spaces are well lit. Access for assistance dogs is allowed.
- The museum has a hearing loop.
Activities
All pedagogical activities can be adapted to groups taking into account diversity.

The Museum makes a free WiFi network available to visitors, thus facilitating the reading of QR codes.
On the ground floor there are two bathrooms. We are working on adapting one of the cabins to make it accessible for people with reduced mobility.
